ABOUT ME

Early in my career, as I immersed myself in the world of reporting on health news, I began to think I was developing symptoms of the diseases that I was learning about. “That” said a psychologist “is medical student disease and it's temporary”.

And so “network hypochondriac” became my tagline.

It also helped shaped me into an more understanding and empathetic journalist who understands the pain of illness-the suffering of patients- and triumph of successful treatments.

  • I feel compelled to help those who need to have a voice

  • To give doctors and scientists the exposure to affect change

  • To help scientists and healthcare providers reach their audiences with accurate and timely information
